Bharti announces the launch of the second phase of expansion of its broadband and telephone operations
Bharti has announced the launch of the second phase of expansion of its broadband and telephone operations. Rollouts are planned in Jaipur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh in the north. The states to be covered include Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Kerala. Along with the new rollout, the company has also introduced a service guarantee scheme, which entails the repair of "dead" phones within eight working hours of receiving a complaint and error-free billing. This is part of the company's strategy to adhere to best quality practices, including Six Sigma. Bharti currently provides these services in six states – Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
